​​On Sunday, November 20​​, 2016, the Feast of Christ the King, the Jubilee of Mercy officially draws to a close. At this time, the Holy Door at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome will close.

In the Archdiocese of Toronto, we have nine Doors of Mercy, which have brought many graces to the faithful throughout the Year of Mercy. Below is information about the closing of the Doors in our archdiocese:

  • Martyrs' Shrine, Midland closed its Door of Mercy on October 10. Their unique outdoor Door of Mercy will be placed in their newly renovated Filion Chapel beneath the church.​

  • Merciful Redeemer Parish, Mississauga will close its Door of Mercy on Sunday, November 13 at the 7 p.m. Mass.

  • St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Bramalea will close its Door of Mercy on Sunday, November 20 at the 12:30 p.m. Mass, presided by Bishop Robert Kasun.

  • St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Mississauga will close its Door of Mercy on Sunday, November 20 at the 11 a.m. Mass​ with prayers​ in Polish.

  • St. Patrick's Parish, Brampton will close its Door of Mercy on Sunday, November 13 after the 7:30 p.m. Mass, presided by Bishop John Boissonneau​.

  • St. Patrick's Parish, Toronto will close its Door of Mercy on Sunday, November 13 during the 12:10 p.m. Mass.

  • St. Paul's Basilica ​will close its Door of Mercy on Sunday, November 20 at the 11 a.m. Mass.

  • St. Theresa's Parish, Scarborough will close its Door of Mercy on Sunday, November 20 at the 1​​​2 p.m. Mass.

  • The Shrine of Our Lady of Grace at Marylake, King City will close its Door of Mercy in a special ceremony at the beginning of the 9 a.m. Mass on Sunday, November 20.​
